刘济荣

刘济荣 简介 著名中国人物画家，广州美术学院教授，岭南画派纪念馆董事，肇庆学院名誉教授，嘉应学院客座教授，中国美术家协会会员。
　　1931年出生于广东兴宁。1957年毕业于中南美术专科学校。1962年进中央美术学院深造。1965年为人民大会堂西藏厅作画。1987年应“澳中友协”之邀赴澳大利亚五个州12所高等学校艺术院系讲学、访问和举办画展。1995年应澳门政府之邀，在澳门市政厅举办画展。
　　在广州美术学院、关山月美术馆、黎雄才艺术馆、岭南画派纪念馆等举办个人画展。
　　四十多年在高等美术学院教学和艺术实践，培养了大批优秀美术人才，并且创作了大量优秀中国画作品。中国改革开放二十余年来，有更多优秀作品问世，《孙中山先生》、《黄遵宪》、《六祖》、《岭南画帅——高剑父先生造像》、《家乡行》、《牧歌》、《草地飞鸿》、《藏北奔牧》、《虔诚》等代表作，先后在国内外展览并获好评。近著有《刘济荣人物画》、《人物画谱》、《牦牛画法》、《刘济荣画集》、《刘济荣客家情》、《那年代—刘济荣速写生活》、《心血来潮》等二十余部。国家人事部2002年授予“当代中国画杰出人才奖”。
　　Famous Chinese figure painter, professor of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, director of Memorial Hall of Lingnan Painting School, honorary professor of Xijiang University, member of China Artists Association, standing director of Guangdong Artists Association, vice-chairman of Jiaying Painting and Calligraphy Research Society (currently the director and professor of Department of Fine Arts in Jiaying Education College from 1990 to 1993).
　　1931 born in Xingning of Guangdong.1957 graduated from Zhongnan Fine Arts School, studied under Guan Shanyue, Li Xiongcai.1962 pursued advanced studies in Central Academy of Fine Arts, studied under Yie Qianyu, Jiang Zhaohe.1965 to 1966 painted for the Tibet Hall of the Great Hall of the People.1972 Painting New Picture, Harvest on the both sides of Brahmaputra took part in the Canada World’s Fair, before that, many works participated national painting shows and exhibitions in different countries. 1982 till now be included in Who’s Who of World Artists of New York Biography Centre, Appreciations of Modern Chinese Artists of Painting, Calligraphy and Seal Cutting of Japan, Who’s Who in Contemporary China etc, more than ten kinds of Dictionary, introduced as notable painter. 1987 at the invitation of Australia China Friendship Society, paid a visit to Australia and held painting show, as well as gave lectures in Arts Schools of twelve universities in five states of Australia.1991 held individual exhibition in Singapore Friendship Exhibition Centre.1992 participated China Ten Doyen Artists Joint Exhibition in Hong Kong City Hall.1993 be awarded the first Prize of Shandong National Celebrity Works Invitation Exhibition.1994 China Figure Painting Ten People Exhibition.1994 held individual Exhibition in Kuala Lumpur at the invitation of Malaysian Chinese Culture Society, and gave lecture in Malaysia Academy of Art.1994 Hua Xia Art International Exhibition(Hong Kong), and Contemporary Chinese Notable Paintings Appreciation Exhibition held by Research Institute of Traditional Chinese Painting (Taiwan) at Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, pastoral and Being People of Lingnan Forever were awarded Golden Prize.1995 held individual exhibition at Macao Municipal Hall at the invitation of Macao government.1995 held Liu Jirong, Liu Shidong Father & Son Painting Exhibition at Hong Kong Kwang Hwa Information and Culture Centre Near forty years’teaching in academy of fine arts and art practice, he has brought up a lot of superior competent personnel in fine arts, and created a large numbers of excellent works of traditional Chinese painting. Since China’s opening to the outside world for more than twenty years, more outstanding works have come out: Dr. Sun Yat-sen, Huang Zunxian, the Sixth Patriarch of Zen Buddhism, Master of Lingnan Painting Gao Jianfu, A Trip to Hometown, Pastoral, Cao Di Fei Hong, Ben Mu, Piety, etc. These representative works have been successively showed at home and abroad exhibition and were highly commented. In recent time, Liu Jirong Figure Paintings, Painting Book of Figures, Painting Technique of Yak, Liu Jirong’s Album of Paintings, etc. are published.
